THE COMPANY
On behalf of our client, a reputable Company operating within the Beverage (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) industry in Cyprus, we seek to recruit an enthusiastic and high calibre professional for the position of HR Lead, to be based in Nicosia.
THE POSITION
The successful candidate will directly report to the Directors of the Company and will be responsible for the development, coordination and execution of all HR related activities ensuring that these are tailored to the Company’s people needs and objectives.
More specifically, the responsibilities of the successful candidate will be the following, amongst others:
- Contribute to defining the Company’s HR strategic priorities in collaboration with the Company’s Directors.
- Design, implement and maintain HR procedures, policies and practices in support of the Company’s business goals
- Manage all HR functions necessary to support the Company’s people needs and enhance employee experience, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, rewards and recognition, ensuring compliance with labour regulations.
- Plan, coordinate and execute recruitment and selection activities (e.g., preparing job vacancies, reviewing CVs, participating in interviews, preparing employment contracts)
- Lead the design, development and successful implementation of a comprehensive Performance Management System
- Assess and identify needs and opportunities for enhancing employees’ professional development; plan, organise and implement targeted training and development initiatives, and assess their effectiveness
- Develop and implement attractive incentives as a means of rewarding and recognising employee performance and achievements
- Maintain and update employee records confidentially, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Support the planning and organisation of HR-related events, such as annual corporate events, team building activities, etc.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, associates and authorities
- Support and manage employee relations activities to promote a collaborative and respectful workplace culture
- Act as a key point of contact for employees and management on all HR-related matters
- Collect and analyse key HR KPIs (e.g., staff turnover, absenteeism, training attendance) to assess the effectiveness of HR practices.
- Stay informed of the latest HR developments, trends, best practices, regulatory changes and technologies.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration or in a related discipline
- Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management or in a related field will be considered as an advantage
- 3-5 years of previous professional experience in positions such as HR Generalist, Senior HR Officer or any other related position in a reputable organisation
- Ability to work effectively with teams of employees with diverse skills and build strong relationships
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to mediate and resolve successfully conflicts within the workplace
- Organisational skills and ability to take initiative and effectively manage multiple tasks and projects in adherence to the respective deadlines
- Analytical thinking, results-oriented and attention to detail so as to identify issues accurately, drive effective solutions, and ensure high-quality outcomes affecting positively employee experience
- Knowledge of the existing legislation and best practices related to his/her duties
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages, both written and verbal
- Excellent computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office
