CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International Group of Companies with headquarters in Switzerland, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Back-End Developer to join their growing team based in Cyprus. The successful applicant will work as part of a talented team of software development professionals tasked with designing and implementing low-latency, high-availability software applications. You should be educated to degree level in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and will need to possess approximately 5 years of proven back-end software development experience working with Python and the Django framework. With offices in Limassol, our client offers Hybrid working conditions, as well as a highly attractive remuneration package that includes an annual bonus scheme, private medical insurance and a personal training and development allowance. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability and performant applications.
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic.
• Perform database schemas and reporting tools that support business processes.
• Query large datasets and construct the right data structures to deliver effective information for the Sales team.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• BSc, MSc or comparable on-the-job training in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Approximately 5+ years’ experience relevant practical and professional experience in a similar role.
• Deep knowledge of Python, Django, DevOps and/or Cloud environment.
• MongoDB and Neo4j knowledge will be considered an advantage.
• Familiar with Agile methodology and application architecture, APIs, REST services.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate with different Teams (Sales, Product, System Admin).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
