CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International Group of Companies with headquarters in Switzerland, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Software Developer to join their growing team based in Cyprus. The successful applicant will work as part of a talented team of software development professionals tasked with designing and implementing low-latency, high-availability software applications. You should be educated to degree level in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and will need to possess approximately 5 years of proven back-end software development experience working with Python and the Django framework. With offices in Limassol, our client offers Hybrid working conditions, as well as a highly attractive remuneration package that includes an annual bonus scheme, private medical insurance and a personal training and development allowance.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability and performant applications.
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic.
• Perform database schemas and reporting tools that support business processes.
• Query large datasets and construct the right data structures to deliver effective information for the Sales team.

Key Skills/Experience:

• BSc, MSc or comparable on-the-job training in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Approximately 5+ years’ experience relevant practical and professional experience in a similar role.
• Deep knowledge of Python, Django, DevOps and/or Cloud environment.
• MongoDB and Neo4j knowledge will be considered an advantage.
• Familiar with Agile methodology and application architecture, APIs, REST services.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate with different Teams (Sales, Product, System Admin).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
