Assistant Production Unit Maintenance Manager, Larnaca – APU/11/26

Our client is seeking an Assistant Production Unit Maintenance Manager to join the team and support the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of our Production & Supply Chain facilities. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on professional with strong technical expertise, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage both equipment and people in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth daily operation of the Technical Support Department
• Monitor scheduled and essential maintenance activities and provide annual improvement recommendations
• Safeguard the effective performance of production equipment and infrastructure according to predefined specifications
• Participate in technical studies and planning for machinery installation, ensuring ergonomics, safety, space optimization, and operational efficiency
• Track technological developments and propose modernization or restructuring of existing machinery to the Technical Director
• Coordinate effective training from suppliers and external partners on proper machine use and repair
• Ensure immediate response to equipment failures, interruptions, and breakdowns, restoring operations promptly
• Maintain regular communication with the Compliance & Quality Assurance Department to ensure adherence to procedures
• Manage HR‑related matters within the department, including training, development, performance management, communication, and workforce planning

Qualifications & Skills

• University degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering)
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in production units
• Knowledge of bakery, bread, and confectionery production processes
• Understanding of technological developments in the production sector
• Excellent command of Greek and English (written & spoken)
• Strong computer literacy
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
