WE ARE HIRING: Senior Accountant

Location: Cyprus | Full-time

VGK Services is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join its team. The role is with a Cyprus law firm with offices in Limassol, Nicosia and Athens. Previous experience in an audit firm or law firm is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for the client’s companies.
• Record transactions, process invoices and reconcile bank accounts.
• Monitor receivables and payables, follow up on outstanding invoices and prepare payments for approval.
• Assist with payroll, VAT reporting and other accounting requirements.
• Prepare financial reports and support the preparation of management accounts.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide supporting documentation.
• Maintain organised financial records and handle confidential information with discretion.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience in an audit firm or law firm is essential.
• Relevant accounting qualification or training, such as LCCI Higher or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
