CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, one of Cyprus’ leading land and building developers, we are seeking to recruit an Accountant to join their growing team based in Limassol. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will handle a range of accounting and bookkeeping duties, including the posting of accounting records, the issuance of invoices, accounting data entry, and VAT preparation. Our client is seeking applicants who possess 3+ years of experience in a relevant role, and holders of accounting certifications such as the LCCI Higher and/or CAT are encouraged to apply. Any prior exposure to the Real Estate, Construction, or Property Management sectors will be considered an advantage, but not essential. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Posting of accounting records, issuance of invoices, accounting data entry, and VAT preparation.
• Calculation of common expenses for our under-management properties.
• Reconciliation of accounts (Banks, Customers, Suppliers).
• Agree Inter-company balances.
• Carry out any other tasks in line with the accounting duties.
• Report to the company’s Financial Controller.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• LCCI Higher, CAT qualification, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Experience with the accounting and bookkeeping related to property management will be considered as an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Be highly motivated and able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
