Job Overview

We are hiring for an Accounting Assistant to support Accounts Receivable and Credit Control tasks, customer onboarding, Accounts Payable administration, including payables and the overhead expenses of the company.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitoring the Credit Control approval process for customer orders.
• Following-up customer on-boarding process and creation of new customer cards in the ERP system.
• Monitoring accounts receivable and following up with the Account Managers and customers on outstanding balances according to the agreed payment terms and due dates of the invoices.
• Reporting to the Management and the Group Head Office for the company’s receivables.
• Maintaining payables ledger, including preparation of online banking payments for approval.
• Posting of all customer receipts and payments to suppliers etc in the ERP system.
• Performing month-end banks and vendors reconciliations.
• Posting of all suppliers’ invoices relating to overhead expenses.
• Maintaining the database of open bank guarantees, including filing and following up on expiring guarantees.
• Preparing ad-hoc reports requested by management.

Skills & Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in an Accounts Department.
• Effective communication, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, demonstrate logical and critical thinking with problem solving abilities.
• Demonstrate honesty, ethics, and professionalism.
• Embrace and adapt to changes in processes and procedures in a dynamic environment.
