CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a boutique Fiduciary, Tax and Accounting firm with offices in the heart of Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join their growing team. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible of end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely execution. Our client seeks detail-oriented candidates who are ideally educated to a degree level in Accounting, Human Resources, Finance, or another related field, who possess at least 1+ years of experience in payroll preparation. Fluency in both Greek and English is a must, along with discretion when handling confidential information. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a generous base salary, performance-related bonus, and provident fund. Working hours are from 08:00 – 17:00 (Mon, Tue, Thu & Fri) and from 08:00 – 14:00 each Wednesday.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Proactively gather and organize monthly payroll information and variables from various clients to ensure seamless processing.
- Undertake the end-to-end execution of payroll cycles based on current labour laws, social insurance regulations, and tax requirements.
- Complete all mandatory registrations and declarations with government authorities (e.g., ERGANI, Social Insurance, Tax Department) on behalf of clients.
- Act as the main liaison for payroll-related matters, providing clients with their payroll documents, reports, and payment instructions.
- Resolve client queries regarding payroll and benefits with high professionalism, providing guidance on statutory deductions and compliance.
- Monthly and annual payroll reconciliations.
Key Skills/Experience:
- University degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of previous experience in payroll preparation.
- Experience in accounting considered as an advantage.
- Proficiency in payroll software, with a strong command of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
- A high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to meet strict deadlines while managing multiple client accounts.
