On behalf of a professional services firm based in Nicosia, we are looking for an Audit Manager to play a key role in delivering high-quality audit work. Responsibilities:
- Lead and perform audits for multiple clients across various industries (e.g. investment, finance, trading) in line with ISA, IFRS, and Companies Law.
- Prepare and review financial statements and tax computations in accordance with IFRS and Cyprus tax legislation.
- Review audit work of junior staff, ensuring quality control and compliance before Senior Manager review.
- Assist in staff allocation, budget planning, and tracking audit engagement progress.
- Maintain direct communication with clients and internal departments to collect information and address ongoing matters.
- Monitor daily work status and report regularly to the Senior Audit Manager.
- Support, train, and guide junior team members; contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Attend client meetings and ensure audit deliverables align with client expectations.
- Maintain strong organizational skills to manage multiple assignments efficiently.
- Perform other audit-related duties as required.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualified with a university degree in Accounting (IT-related degree is a plus) and a strong academic record
- Over 5 years of audit firm experience, including at least 3 years post- qualification
- Solid knowledge of auditing principles, accounting standards, Cyprus tax, and CaseWare
- Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Professional, dependable, and self-motivated with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in Greek and English; knowledge of Russian or Ukrainian is a plus
- IT literate and capable of maintaining positive relationships with clients and colleagues
