On behalf of a professional services firm based in Nicosia, we are looking for an Audit Manager to play a key role in delivering high-quality audit work. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and perform audits for multiple clients across various industries (e.g. investment, finance, trading) in line with ISA, IFRS, and Companies Law.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and tax computations in accordance with IFRS and Cyprus tax legislation.
  • Review audit work of junior staff, ensuring quality control and compliance before Senior Manager review.
  • Assist in staff allocation, budget planning, and tracking audit engagement progress.
  • Maintain direct communication with clients and internal departments to collect information and address ongoing matters.
  • Monitor daily work status and report regularly to the Senior Audit Manager.
  • Support, train, and guide junior team members; contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Attend client meetings and ensure audit deliverables align with client expectations.
  • Maintain strong organizational skills to manage multiple assignments efficiently.
  • Perform other audit-related duties as required.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with a university degree in Accounting (IT-related degree is a plus) and a strong academic record
  • Over 5 years of audit firm experience, including at least 3 years post- qualification
  • Solid knowledge of auditing principles, accounting standards, Cyprus tax, and CaseWare
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Professional, dependable, and self-motivated with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills in Greek and English; knowledge of Russian or Ukrainian is a plus
  • IT literate and capable of maintaining positive relationships with clients and colleagues
