What You’ll Be Doing
As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a key role in automating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud and hosting infrastructure, and ensuring system reliability. You’ll work closely with developers, QA engineers, and other IT specialists to deliver robust and efficient software deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Manage and monitor cloud and hosting infrastructure, particularly on Hetzner and cPanel-based environments
• Automate infrastructure setup and deployment using tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Support website and application hosting tasks using cPanel and related tools
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and secure deployments
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, DNS, SSL, and deployment issues
• Monitor systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
• Participate in implementing DevOps best practices and performance optimization strategies
What We’re Looking For
Hard Skills & Technical Requirements
• 1–3 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or system administration role
• Solid experience with Linux/Unix server environments
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker); Kubernetes is a plus
• Familiarity with cPanel/WHM, domain configuration, email hosting, and web hosting automation
• Experience working with Hetzner infrastructure, including dedicated servers and cloud instances
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Scripting abilities (Bash, Python, or similar) for automation and maintenance
• Understanding of network configuration, DNS management, SSL setup, and server security
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools and CI/CD workflows
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field, or equivalent practical experience
