Company Description:

On behalf of our Client, member of a well-known group of companies operating in the Business Consulting, Fiduciary, Tax and Legal services, we are seeking to recruit experienced, high caliber professionals for the position of Bookkeeper, to be based at our Client’s offices in Nicosia.

 

Job Duties:

Successful candidates will report to the Director in charge, being responsible for the bookkeeping of a portfolio of clients, including the setup of the chart of accounts, posting of entries, performing reconciliations, filing of accounting records, payroll administration and processing, preparation of accounting reports, and other relevant internal administration duties of the department. Successful candidates’ responsibilities will also include bank reconciliations,  preparation and filing of quarterly and VAT returns, submission of monthly VIES declarations, liaising with clients to gather related information for accounting matters as well as with auditors for the annual statutory audit work.

 

Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of working experience as a Bookkeeper within a professional services organization
  • LCCI Higher qualification
  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or in any other related discipline will be considered as an advantage
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Navision will be considered as an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English Languages
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office Suite applications
