Our client, a well established group operating in the distribution of FMCG products, is looking to hire a new member in the sales team

The holder of the position with be responsible for the handling of key customers under the guidance of the Sales director. He or she must achieve the targets set (short term and long term) and maintain excellent business relationships with the customers

Position’s duties and responsibilities:

  • Maximize opportunities for the main product categories for the company and customers.
  • Develops, negotiates, implements and supervises specific customer needs in the line defined by brand objectives, predefined range of products, merchandising, promotion and commercial pricing policy.
  • Ensure that all in-store actions bring the expected sales
  • Apply the promotional plan to the line and goals set by the marketing department.
  • Expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Monitor and report market trends, consumer needs and competition activities.     
  • Monitor and report sales of all key product categories and monitor and report sales of all key customers
  • Use "category & space management" sales techniques and be frequently updated on all available tools and sales methods available on the market.
  • Evaluates consumer reactions to its promotional actions.
  • Evaluate, in cooperation with the marketing department, the consumer and retailer's response to specific promotional and material activities.
  • Have the ability to place the appropriate priority on the distribution of the work it carries out and to coordinate them at the same time.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels

Position’s requirements

  • Acquiring a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance or any other related field.
  • Must acquire at least 3 years’ experience in the field of sales
  • Experience in the FMCG products is required
  • Proficient user of MS office – especially in Excel
  • Very good communication skills and presentation skills
  • Fluency in English and Greek languages
