Advance Career, on behalf of our clients, a Forex Organisation in Limassol, is looking to recruit a Compliance Associate;

Responsibilities:

• Providing assistance to maintain and update internal policies and procedures of the firm, in order to be in line with regulatory requirements
• Providing assistance to the monitoring and assessment of the correct and effective implementation of the policies, according to the general policy principles.
• Providing assistance to the Compliance Officer, in preparing the annual written reports.
• Providing assistance regarding trainings and educating the staff of the Company in respect with the compliance function according to the applicable laws and regulations.
• Providing assistance with the monitoring of legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact on the compliance of the firm’s ongoing business processes
• Assisting the Compliance Officer with the performance of the Compliance Monitoring Plan
• Providing assistance to maintain records of internal approvals, personal trading statements, communications with authorities etc.
• Providing support and guidance to the departments of the company in relation to queries relevant to AML and regulatory compliance matters
• Performing any other compliance-related tasks that may be assigned

Qualifications:

• Finance or Law or Business related degree will be considered an advantage
• At least 1 year experience at a CySEC investment firm;
• Previous experience in the Compliance Function of a CIF will be considered an advantage;
• CySEC Advanced certificate will be considered an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of the English Language both written and oral, is a MUST;
• Organized, diligent and detail oriented;
• Computer literate, good capacity of Microsoft Office applications;
• Professionalism, work ethic, Self-motivation and a Team player;
• Positive can-do attitude;
