An exciting opportunity for a policy or legal professional who wishes to broaden their experience by working at HQ level in the Administration offering exposure across all departments. The Local Affairs Policy Officer provides support to Headquarters on policy matters and will be the focal point for the team keeping an up-to-date awareness of current issues, while undertaking a lead role in one or more areas of public policy. Strong administration and organisation skills and a capability to manage and deliver a portfolio of tasks are essential to contribute to fulfilling the wider governance role of the SBAA HQ. Be able to engage with senior partners (within ROC or SBA’s) and find solutions looking for win-win outcomes.
There is the possibility of some hybrid working and to work from an Area Administration Office, with 1-2 days in HQ SBAA required per week.
