CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established and expanding distributor of luxury goods across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Retail Operations Manager to join their growing team. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of retail operations, including but not limited to staff management, training and development, inventory control, customer service, and financial management. You will be based in Limassol and work rotationally onsite across the 4 major shopping malls in Cyprus, playing a vital role to help facilitate the smooth functioning of retail stores and ultimately achieving designated sales targets. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related fields, who possess proven experience in retail management, with a track record of achieving sales targets and operational excellence.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Recruit, train, and supervise retail staff members.
  • Set performance targets and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Organise shift rotas to ensure staff coverage at all times.
  • Provide coaching and support to staff to enhance their skills and productivity.
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment conducive to high morale and motivation.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times.
  • Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Train staff on effective customer service techniques and product knowledge.
  • Monitor sales performance and analyze variances against targets.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
  • Prepare regular financial reports for Senior Management.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field is desirable.
  • Proven experience in retail management, with a track record of achieving sales targets and operational excellence.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to travel daily across Cyprus to retail outlets for work purposes.
