CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established developer of Software Solutions to the Legal, Accounting & Financial Services sectors, we are seeking to recruit a Full Stack Web Developer to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will work as part of team of Developers and Product Managers to help develop new features and enhancements for our clients product portfolio. You will ideally be educated in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and possess approximately 2+ years of experience working with PHP, in particular with the Lavarel PHP framework.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Meet with the Product team (Product Manager & CTO) and discuss the new APIs/features needed to be added to our clients solutions. 
• Adhere to internal coding guidelines to ensure consistency and maintainability of the codebase. Write well-documented and commented code.
• Write appropriate tests to accompany the code changes, ensuring high code quality and robustness.
• Participate in creating and maintaining API responses for the company's solutions.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Ideally educated to degree level in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Have at least 2+ years of hands-on development experience with PHP.
• Possess expertise in the Laravel PHP Framework, as this is a crucial requirement for the role.
• Familiarity with working in a Continuous Integration (CI) environment. Experience with Git for code management, PHPUnit for testing, and Jenkins for pre-production processes is beneficial.
• Understand the basics of web application architecture, even though the role does not require deep DevOps knowledge. Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure is a plus.
• Have experience in creating and extending JSON APIs, which is relevant for enhancing the company's software solutions.
• Possess some basic knowledge of Unix systems and Linux commands.
