The Island Private School of Limassol in Cyprus opened in September 2022, and is now looking for competent, experienced and, above all, passionate Music Teacher to join the team for the Academic Year 2024 - 2025.

We are also in the process of planning our new school campus on a beautiful 50,000 m2 site to be completed approximately by end of 2025, that will include kindergartens, elementary and high schools, an international boarding school, and accommodation for teachers. The Position:

Title: Junior Accountant
Reporting to: Finance Director

General responsibilities:
Sales Ledger
- Recording customer receipts
- Cashier duties for some hours every week
- Preparing ageing analysis and liaising with administration for collection of
overdue invoices
- Administration of online payments
Purchases Ledger
- Preparing monthly payments file
- Petty Cash recording
- Allocating invoices to activities and posting supplier invoices
- Updating the accounting system in terms of supplier information
Fixed Assets Register Maintenance
- Record Fixed Asset purchases/disposals
- Run and post depreciation
- Physical verification of fixed assets at year end
General
- Assist the finance team in any ad hoc project
- Assist in the year end and audit procedure
- Prepare reconciliations (bank, creditor, etc)

Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting or LCCI Accounting 3 rd Level or AAT Technician
- 3+years of accounting working experience is a must
- Proficiency in MS Office especially MS Excel
- Basic knowledge of VAT
- Proficiency in the English & Greek Languages (both verbal and written)
- Knowledge of any ERP (E Soft, Soft One, Navision, Atlantis etc.
