The Client:

On behalf of our Client, a Financial Services Company, we are looking to recruit a VAT Compliance Assistant Manager/ Manager to be part of its rapidly growing VAT Compliance services team in Nicosia & Limassol.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work on a diverse portfolio of clients specializing in various industries.

  • Learn in depth the provisions of the VAT Law.

  • Deals directly with clients on a day-to-day basis to ensure their VAT compliance matters are up to date.

Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Law, Economics or Business Administration

  • 5 - 7 years of experience with the local and EU VAT

  • Studying towards or holding a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ADIT) will be considered an advantage.

  • Strong exposure in the preparation/completion/review of VAT compliance work

  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Greek

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment

  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team

  • Confident, articulate and able to communicate in a clear and effective manner

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Dynamic with an ability to take initiative, solve problems and deliver results

  • Excellent interpersonal and people management skills

  • Computer literate (MS Office, G-suite)

  • Experience with Data Analytics tools (Alteryx) will be considered an advantage

Location:

The position is for the Client's offices in Nicosia & Limassol, Cyprus.

Remuneration:
