This role is about:

As a Payment Systems Manager, you will be responsible for controlling the daily functionality of the Payment System Department. The role also serves as the efficient coordinator for Payment Scheme projects.

You will:

• Be responsible for the implementation, certification, management and improvement of new projects and products.

• Manage key operation projects, processes and performance reports, data, and analysis.

• Monitor, measure and report on operational issues, development plans, opportunities and achievements within agreed formats and timescales.

• Be responsible for supporting the business development initiatives in the assessment and integration of new businesses, enhancements, and developments.

• Oversee workforce production and operating reports and resolve operational and facility problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays to ensure the company meet future growth demands

• Conduct training of staff and recommend training programs to develop further and broaden their knowledge.

• Resolve functionality issues and address more complex program issues

• Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities

• Analyze statistics and compile accurate reports.

What we need:

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in payment card processing

• Knowledge of Payment Scheme Rules and Regulations

• Excellent command of the English language both written and spoken.

• Knowledge of Project Management Methodology

• Project documentation, Business Operations Procedures writing skills

• Strong Analytical skills, a good communicator, negotiator, and problem solver

• Highly numerate, with experience of using spreadsheets and databases

• Ability to work within deadlines and time limits

• Work efficiently as a team member and with a high spirit of cooperation and understanding of other members of the team

• Strong educational background in Economics, Finance, IT, or a related field
