CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established and expanding providing of Financial Technology solutions to a wide range of clients, we are seeking to recruit an HR Officer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the successful applicant will play a key role in the smooth running of the HR Department, including assisting in the hiring process, arranging staff trainings and performance reviews, assisting with the preparation of payroll, as well as updating and maintaining personnel files. You should be educated to degree level in Human Resources or another relevant field and possess excellent organisational and administrative skills. Previous experience in a similar position is a must, including exposure to payroll. An excellent level of verbal and written English is essential for this role. Our client offers a highly remuneration and benefits package, based on skills and experience. 

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Being actively involved in the recruitment cycle by preparing job descriptions, posting adverts, phone screenings, scheduling interviews, following up with all applicants etc…
  • Assisting in the hiring process (from contract preparation to onboarding new joiners).
  • Arranging staff trainings and performance reviews.
  • Maintaining personnel records.
  • Assisting with the preparation of payroll.
  • Ensure holiday, sickness and absence records for all employees are recorded in the internal system and kept up to date.
  • Handle HR software, analyze data and prepare detailed reports.
  • Assisting in adhoc projects as required.
  • General administrative tasks.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or another closely related field.
  • Previous experience in a relevant role is essential.
  • Experience with payroll is a must.
  • Excellent time management skills, able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and disciplined approached to administration and record keeping.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Any experience working with HR software will be considered a plus.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
