Job Description:

The Quality Assurance and Program Accreditations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the university's quality assurance processes and managing local and international accreditation efforts for academic programs, under the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance. This critical role ensures that our programs meet or exceed established standards and provide students with a world-class education.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Quality Assurance Committee including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, keeping minutes, and drafting reports.

2. Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality assurance processes for academic programs.

3. Prepare the application forms and related documents for Departmental and Programmatic Accreditations of new Departments ant Programs and the reaccreditation of existing programs well ahead of their expiration

4. Support the university's accreditation efforts by helping prepare accreditation reports and coordinating site visits and the response to the evaluation reports.

5. Collaborate with faculty and staff in improving program curriculum and learning outcomes.

6. Stay informed about national and international accreditation standards and requirements.

7. Provide guidance and support to academic departments in preparing for accreditation reviews.

8. Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and oversee assessment processes to measure student learning outcomes and program effectiveness.

9. Assist with data analysis and program assessment, offering recommendations for enhancements.

10. Serve as the main point of contact for local and international accreditation agencies and communicate accreditation status to the university community.

11. Assist in the preparation and presentation of reports on quality assurance and accreditation to university leadership.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a related field.

• Prior experience in quality assurance or accreditation support in a higher education environment is beneficial.

• Familiarity with accreditation standards and processes.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Excellent writing skills in both English and Greek.

• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

• Analytical and problem-solving aptitude.

• Knowledge of IT.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Attention to detail.

• A commitment to upholding high academic standards.
