Requirements

• Doctor of Law (J.D.) or an equivalent diploma from an accredited law faculty;
• Admission to the Bar Association in the relevant jurisdiction;
• Work experience as a lawyer in the field of international law;
• Deep understanding of international norms, treaties and agreements;
• Excellent analytical, research and communication skills;
• Ability to work together in rapidly changing conditions and effectively solve multiple priority tasks;
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus);
• The ability to quickly and in detail understand the peculiarities of the regulated law of other countries;
• Knowledge of the legal systems of other countries is desirable (knowledge of English law, legislation of the UAE, Singapore, Africa, CIS countries will be an advantage);
• Spoken Russian language.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support on international issues, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws;
• Conducting research on international legal issues and norms in support of the decision-making process and strategic planning;
• Development and consideration of legal documents, contracts and agreements of an international nature;
• Closely cooperate with interdisciplinary groups in order to provide legal assistance and support in the implementation of various business initiatives and projects;
• Monitoring of changes in international laws and regulations and early consultation of interested parties on issues of potential impact on the organization;
• Preparation of small reports with analytical information on issues of taxation, legislation on licensing in foreign jurisdictions;
• Legal support for concluding contracts, including in English;
• International contracts (contracts, IT, etc. mainly under the law of foreign countries);
• Transactions with trademarks, royalties;
• Coordination, signing and execution of contracts on international projects;
• Document circulation, including the organization of apostillation, legalization and translation of documents;
• Support for opening accounts in foreign jurisdictions;
• Establishment, reorganization, as well as general corporate support of foreign companies.
