CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Corporate & Fiduciary Services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Banking & Corporate Administrator to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Banking & Corporate Administrator, you will primarily be responsible for gathering and processing documentation pertaining to the opening of clients’ bank accounts. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or another related field, who possess proven experience opening bank accounts in Cyprus and internationally. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek are essential. A highly competitive salary package is available, based on skills and experience.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Gathering and processing related documentation pertaining to the opening of clients’ bank accounts.
  • Opening Corporate and Personal bank Accounts in Cyprus and abroad.
  • Maintaining existing bank accounts by continuous updating of all relevant KYC and corporate documentation.
  • Payment of the bills, invoices etc.
  • Communication with various banks and/or EMIs.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc Banking related tasks.
  • Collecting and review KYC documentation.
  • Conduct ongoing client reviews and Due Diligence.
  • Conduct annual client reviews for entities/individuals in accordance with risk-based approach.
  • Ensure that KYC/Due diligence information/documentation provided by clients fall within the Company’s requirements.
  • Make sure that Records Keeping systems are fully updated and accurate information is passed therein in relation to clients’/companies data.
  • Perform client’s negative database screening through software such as World-Compliance and resolve/investigate the possible hits.
  • Assisting on formation of Cyprus entities.
  • Liaising with the agents for incorporation of overseas companies.
  • Record keeping and administration duties.
  • Arranging for the documents to be executed, certified and apostilled.
  • Filling corporate changes with Registrar of Companies.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc Corporate/Banking/AML related tasks.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Ideally educated to degree level in Banking, Finance, Administration or related field.
  • Previous banking experience in opening bank accounts in Cyprus and internationally.
  • Proactive with strong organizational skills, multitasking.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Professional and confident.
