CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Online Media & Marketing services predominantly to the iGaming sector, we are seeking to recruit a Fraud & Payments Analyst to join their growing team based in Nicosia or Limassol. Our client is seeking applicants who possess a proven track record in fraud detection and prevention, as well as strong analytical skills with the ability to provide strategic insights based on complex data sets. Knowledge of payment processing systems, regulations, and industry best practices is a must. Our client offers a competitive salary and remuneration package based on skills and experience, including a 13th salary, as well as Hybrid working conditions.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Take ownership of Customer Due Diligence processes and escalations.
  • Assessment and configuration of fraud detection tools and technologies.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend preventive measures.
  • Oversee end-to-end payment processing operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to streamline payment workflows and address any discrepancies promptly.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance the team's skills and awareness of industry best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
  • Implement measures that mitigate payment-related risks.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging threats to proactively address potential risks.
  • Generate comprehensive reports on fraud trends, payment history and resolution outcomes for senior management.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, external partners, and providers to strengthen collaborative efforts in fraud prevention and payments processing.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide strategic insights based on complex data sets.
  • Knowledge of payment processing systems, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with advanced fraud detection tools and payment aggregators is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in verbal and written English is a must.
