Almond Recruitment, on behalf of our client, a leading International Audit & Accounting firm in Nicosia, are currently looking for a Payroll & Accounting Officer. Responsibilities

• Experience of payroll processing internal or external clients
• Knowledge of local regulations
• Social insurance and tax processing
• Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently
• Collecting, calculating, and entering data to maintain and update payroll information
• Compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages and reporting on this
• Determining payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income, social security taxes, employer’s social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments
• Resolving payroll discrepancies

Requirements

• 1-3 years in a payroll position
• 1-2 years of accounting experience is essential
• 1 year accounting experience
• Fluent in Greek and English
