CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a well-established, regulated Investment Firm with offices across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit an Onboarding Officer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will be involved in processing client applications, conducting KYC procedures, managing client documentation, supporting departments, and ensuring compliance with policies. An academic background relating to Finance, Mathematics, other related field is desirable, and any basic or advanced Certification from the Cyprus Securities & Exchange Commission will be considered an advantage. Any previous experience in a similar role will be considered advantageous, but not essential. Fluency in English is essential; and any additional language skills will be considered a plus. Our client offers an attractive remuneration and benefits package including Medical Insurance, Provident Fund, Remote Work, flexibility in start time in the morning. Flexibility to work shifts is required for this role. 


Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Processing applications for the opening of new client accounts.
  • Implementing strong Know Your Client (KYC) procedure to all potential and existing clients as well as Due Diligence Checks.
  • Ensuring that all necessary documentation is collected and in turn updating the relevant software of the company.
  • Keeping client records in electronic form (including agreements, ID documents, investor questionnaire, and Know Your Client information).
  • Providing assistance to other departments of the company for back office related tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Working towards Key Performance Indicators and goals set for the department.
  • Complying with internal company policies and procedures.
  • Undertaking any other related tasks assigned by management.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, other related field.
  • Flexibility to work shifts is required.
  • Basic or Advanced Certification from the Cyprus Securities & Exchange Commission will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of English, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage.
  • Computer literacy with very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work independently.
  • Team player.
