CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a leading Engineering and Contracting company specializing in the fields of water and wastewater treatment, we are seeking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for a variety of core duties, including the preparation of project design drawing and documentation, carrying out site surveys and organising project files. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering, who ideally possess some previous experience in a relevant position, although training will be provided. You will need to be proficient in working with AutoCAD, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek & English. A attractive remuneration and benefits package is available to the successful candidate, that includes a 13th salary and Provident Fund.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Prepare project design documentation and drawings.
• Review of design drawings.
• Carry out site surveys and data collection.
• Code compliance audits.
• Organize projects files.
• Undertake the design calculations of the projects.
• Prepare project presentations to the client.
• Carry out any other activities assigned to him/her and are related to his/her duties.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Any previous, relevant professional experience is highly desirable, although training will be provided.
• Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D software (ideally with some experience outside of University/Studies).
• Good working knowledge of 3D Design.
• Basic electrical knowledge would be considered an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Greek & English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to perform well under pressure.
• Dynamic and flexible to be able to respond to changing priorities.
