CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a progressive and expanding CySEC regulated investment firm with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a PSP Manager to join their growing team. As a PSP Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and reporting on PSP performance, whilst supporting new integrations and optimizing existing ones. This position requires a cycle of assessment, action, and achievement to ensure strategic projects align with operational needs, functionalities, and legal requirements. You will collaborate closely with the technology department to find solutions and conduct necessary product testing. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Finance, Business, or another related field, who possess 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the financial industry sector, with extensive knowledge of Devcode (PIQ) & Praxis. The CySEC advanced certification is required, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new Payment Service Providers (PSPs) based on business needs.
  • Benchmark industry options and manage PSP performance, including approval rates and issue resolution.
  • Research new payment methods to remain up to date on industry trends and monitor user journey throughout the cashier, maintaining a strong customer-oriented focus.
  • Communicate regularly with partners to identify opportunities and stay updated on offerings.
  • Lead the onboarding of new payment solutions for current and future target markets.
  • Assist in merchant account openings with PSPs and negotiate rates and terms of contracts with prospective partners.
  • Analyse trends in payment volumes, success rates, speed of transactions and performance for reporting purposes.
  • Serve as the primary relationship contact with payment providers and manage escalations of payment-related issues.
  • Prepare and maintain payment documentation, internal processes, and procedures for the use of each PSP by customers.
  • Act as support and backup to management, serving as a point of contact for internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor payment provider settlements and bank reconciliations, reconciling payments received against statements.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of PSP transactions and follow up on any discrepancies to expectations.
  • Supervise the daily matching and reconciliation staff across all Group companies.
  • Managing the Safeguarding of client assets within the Group.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical decision-makers, explaining complex topics in simple terms.
  • Report directly to management on performance and collaborate with the division to reach monthly targets.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Financial Services sector.
  • Extensive knowledge of DevCode (PIQ) & Praxis, including routing, fallbacks, rules, etc…
  • CySEC advanced certification required for safeguarding client assets.
  • Fluent in English with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with all payment providers.
  • Experience in reviewing processes and system functionalities to drive optimization and improvement efforts.
  • Previous work experience in a regulated environment.
  • Detail-oriented, conscientious, and highly organized, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Preferable experience in “Methodos” Matching and Reconciliation technology system (AA Trusted Solutions)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
