Bookkeeper Nicosia

The position:

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and self-motivated professional to join our Financial Control team. The successful candidate will join a very friendly and supportive organization and will work alongside a growing and developing team, where the skills and competencies will be challenged and developed.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

Ensure that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate and timely manner

  • Maintain proper accounting records
  • Verify and record invoices from suppliers
  • Record and check company bank statements
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations
  • Deal with petty cash
  • Directly communicate with suppliers and service providers as applicable
  • Deal with financial paperwork and filing
  • Provide general administrative support

Main requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or in any related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Working knowledge of SAP accounting software will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
  • Excellent oral and written skills in English
  • Energetic, positive, and a team player
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
