CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a CySEC regulated Investment Firm with expanding operations in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Web Developer to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will work as part of an existing development team, responsible for developing, maintaining and refactoring various web applications. You will ideally hold an academic background relating to Computer Science or another relevant field and will need to possess approximately 3+ years of proven development experience, working with core technologies including React, React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS and/or HTML. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and refactor existing web applications and APIs.
• Design and implement new features.
• Create engaging front-end code using React, React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS and/or HTML.
• Translate business requirements into high quality, tested and secure code.
• Write unit and integration tests.
• Contribute to team effort and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with the product team and business owners.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Educated to degree level in Computer Science or a related field.
• Approximately 3 years of relevant experience in Web Development.
• Knowledge and experience with technologies including React, React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS and/or HTML.
• Experience of building or working with CMS platforms.
• Strong awareness of design principles.
• Good understanding of modern UI frameworks like React.
• Familiar with LEAN product development.
• Familiar with Web Analytic frameworks.
• A solid understanding of how front-end applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
