CSP JV (Cyprus Services Provider) an established Joint Venture company working within the British Sovereign Base areas, has a requirement for a Purchase Clerk.

Puchase Clerk

The Purchase Clerk will be responsible for all procurement issues relating to the contract including the liaison with the established UK supply chain and freight forwarding agents. They will work closely with the stores facility to rationalise the stock held on-site to drive out operational and financial efficiencies.

Key Competencies:

  • Ability to deliver a materials procurement and logistical strategy to deliver to targets.

  • Understanding of stores and stock management issues.

  • Good team player.

  • Motivated and self-driven.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in managing supply chains effectively.

  • Experienced in the formulation and implementation of procurement strategies.

  • Experience in working in continuous improvement environment.

  • Ability to work within a QA system environment.

  • IT Literate on all Microsoft Office programs.

  • Ability to develop systems to improve VFM.

Experience:

  • Client liaison on contract financial matters.

  • Procurement strategy implementation and review to deliver VFM.

  • Stores / stock management exposure and understanding of the issues.

  • Supply chain management and negotiation.
