CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International Software Development company with regional offices in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Software Tester to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Software Tester you will be responsible for the quality assurance of various software products, carrying out acceptance tests that make a decisive contribution to the quality of software released to clients. Our client is seeking applicants who educated to degree level in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields who possess approximately 2 years of hands-on experience with test case creation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Creation of test plans and test specifications.
• Execution and documentation of tests.
• Processing of internal software product approvals.
• Continuous improvement of software products by optimizing the testing process.
• Filing of error reports and providing support for development through error analysis.
• Know when good is good enough and present results quickly and in a customer-oriented way.

Key Skills/Experience:

• BSc/MSc in the areas of Information Technology related fields.
• Passionate about software quality.
• Knowledge of systematic test case creation.
• Hands-on experience with testing and bug tracking tools such as HP Quality Centre, Jira/Confluence.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience or the ability to familiarize yourself with complex technical systems in the radio technology sector.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• ISTQB certification will be considered an advantage.
