Our esteemed Senior School is gearing up for the upcoming academic year 2024-2025 and is on the lookout for dynamic and dedicated teachers across all subjects to join our vibrant team! The available positions may be part-time or full-time, depending on the needs of the school and the qualifications of the candidates. Shortlisted applicants will have the opportunity to discuss their preferences and availability during the interview process.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• University degree or equivalent, certified by KYSATS, in the subject to be taught
• Teaching experience will be considered an advantage; however we also encourage applications from recent graduates who are yet to start their teaching career
• Relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g. PGCE) will be considered an advantage

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of general principles of teaching (pedagogy), subject specific curriculum design and assessment for learning
• Knowledge of the English language
• Knowledge of public school lyceum assessment criteria will be considered an advantage (2α & 3η τάξη λυκειακού κύκλου)
• Knowledge of GCSE/A Level assessment criteria will be considered an advantage
• Ability to identify their own development needs (professional and subject based), take ownership of their professional development and be prepared to improve their teaching practice and knowledge
• Ability to communicate information and ideas using verbal, visual and written communication so that others (students and colleagues) will understand
• Ability to use Microsoft office suite applications, management information systems (MIS) and training and education applications
