We are on the lookout for a talented Junior Corporate Lawyer to be a part of our growing legal department. If you're passionate about corporate law and eager to make your mark in the field, this role is perfect for you.

As a Junior Corporate Lawyer with us, you'll have the chance to dive into a variety of corporate law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, governance, and compliance. You'll be at the forefront of advising clients, drafting legal documents, and conducting research in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will need to have strong knowledge working with Registrar of Companies and “Ijustice” electronic system.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Preparation, review and execution of various corporate administration services and administration documents of the companies within the Group.
  • Responsible for advising clients on corporate law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, governance, and compliance.
  • Ensure proper record keeping of agreements and other legal documentation and organize the Legal Department’s filing system.
  • Ensure that all necessary changes that need to be made with the applicable corporate authorities and/or agents and any applicable corporate reporting obligations are made appropriately and on time.
  • Ensure that all certificates and KYC information and documentation concerning the Group companies and its officers are updated and kept in file.
  • Perform registrations in authorities or other bodies as it might be required and execute applications and other related documentation.
  • Liaising with Banks, Liquidity Providers, Registrar of Companies and other authorities or bodies as may be required.
  • Drafting and collecting signatures of basic legal agreements, resolutions, minutes and/or any other documentation as may be required.
  • Drafting and preparing proposals to clients using Canvas or other related website.
  • Drafting and preparing applications for yellow slip, pink slips and have the flexibility to attend Immigration Department.
  • Assist the legal department in implementing and updating policies, procedures and relevant logs and records in compliance with GDPR and other data privacy laws applicable to the organization.
  • Assist the legal department in any other tasks as it might be required from time to time.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law or a related field.
  • Qualified lawyer, admitted to the Bar Association in Cyprus.
  • Proven work experience as a Corporate Lawyer or a similar role.
  • Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Greek.
  • Excellent knowledge of corporate governance, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance topics.
  • Sound judgement and ability to analyse situations and information.
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask, and work independently under pressure.
  • Must-have experience with Registrar of Companies platform and “Ijustice”.
