CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly respected provider of Corporate & Fiduciary Services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit an AML & Compliance Officer to join their growing team based in Larnaca. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for the collection, management, and ongoing update of KYC document, ensuring that clients of the firm are fully compliant with the requirements of the regulatory authority. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or other relevant fields, who possess approximately 3+ years of experience in a similar position. A relevant compliance-related qualification/certification is required, such as the CySEC Advanced and/or the CySEC AML. Excellent communication skills in Greek and English, both verbal and written are essential. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Collection, management, and ongoing update of the KYC documents of clients.
• Recording client in the Company’s AML system.
• Ensuring that the companies of the firm are fully compliant with the requirements of the regulatory authority.
• Ongoing review of KYC records as to completeness, including verifying that due diligence has been performed and that the files and risk assessments are current and up to date.
• Implement transaction monitoring.
• Support departments by collecting and coordinating compliance data.
• Develop and improve of AML procedures and policies.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to the Management of the Company and regulatory authorities including Cyprus Bar Association.
• Remain up to date with the regulatory framework.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• University Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law or a related field.
• A minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• A relevant compliance-related qualification/certification is required, such as the CySEC Advanced and/or the CySEC AML.
• Knowledge of Greek and English language, both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
