As part of your role, your responsibilities will include developing backend services in a distributed infrastructure, building software platforms for high technology products. Your primary focus will be developing backend solutions with a focus on high performance and maintainability. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Computer Science or a related field who possess approximately 4+ years of proven back-end development experience working with Python. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code.
• Design and implement services (Microservices Architecture), based on Docker's Ecosystem.
• Keep up to date with all relevant frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, etc…).
• Work with common database systems (MySQL, SQLite etc.).
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Ideally educated to degree level in Computer Science or a related field.
• Approximately 4+ years of Back End and/or Full-Stack experience.
• Excellent understanding of the syntax of Python and its nuances.
• A knack for writing clean, readable Python code.
• Experience with Python, along with other common libraries/framework such as Flask, Celery.
• Well versed with Linux fundamentals.
• Knowledge in design and microservices system architecture.
• Knowledge of software development processes.
• Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful.
• Delivery of quality results within aggressive timelines.
• Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
