CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Group of Companies with diverse business interests, including the provision of Cyber Security & Data Analytics solutions to global clientele, we are seeking to recruit a Back-End Developer (Node.js) to join their growing team based in Limassol. In this role, you will be responsible for writing and testing scalable code, developing back-end components, and integrating user-facing elements in collaboration with Front-End developers. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Computer Science or similar, who possess approximately 4 years of previous experience working with Node.js. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Write effective, scalable code and document it.
• Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance.
• Test and debug programs.
• Improve functionality of existing systems.
• Implement security and data protection solutions.
• Assess and prioritize feature requests.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Ideally educated to degree level in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on cloud service development experience, specifically with Node JS.
• Experience in deploying scalable solutions.
• Experience in Linux and bash scripting.
• Smart and highly motivated engineer, eager to solve tough problems.
• Proven experience with the implementation of new solutions, new architecture, and end-to-end features of the product.
• Experience with Docker.
• Experience with Nginx and LUA.
• Experience in deploying cloud servers (AWS).
