The Enterprise Technology and Performance teamof our Consulting practice is rapidly expanding and seeking to recruit dynamic and experienced developers at the level of Assistant Developer in our Nicosia Office.

Individuals joining us should be able to engage in both advisory and delivery projects, from helping clients with their transformation strategies, to supporting the full lifecycle of technology delivery projects.

The Role

The successful job incumbent(s) will be involved in, among others:

  • Participate in agile development projects
  • Support ongoing business requirements
  • Perform system and integration testing with sample and live data
  • Work on multiple projects at once
  • Collaborate on projects with other team members
  • Perform root cause analyses and remediation for integration, system reporting and data issues
  • Development experience for both mobile and desktop
  • Experience with building microservices
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial or SVN
  • Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications
  • Collaborate with the rest of the team to design and launch new features
  • Maintain code integrity and organization
  • Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements
  • Understanding and implementation of security and data protection

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree from a reputable University in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience in the following:
  • Web fundamentals like HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS
  • CSS pre-processors like Sass or LESS
  • Libraries like jQuery or Backbone.js
  • Front-end (CSS) frameworks like Foundation or Bootstrap
  • AJAX
  • Front-end testing frameworks like Jest, Chai, Enzyme, Mocha, etc
  • Back-end programming languages (e.g. PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, .NET, JavaScript etc) and appropriate frameworks (e.g. Node, Django, Spring)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of business processes and associated technology
  • Possess good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Be able to plan and deliver the scope and deliverables of the team (for more senior roles)
  • Manage stakeholders using clear communications and be able to form strong client relationships
  • Work effectively within an inclusive team and actively support the development of individuals and teams, both formally and informally
