Supply Chain Planning Software Analyst
Overview:
We currently seek for a talented individual with a strong analytical and scientific mindset, coupled with proficient coding skills utilized either in academic studies of professional endeavors to tackle challenges effectively.
Based in our Nicosia office, the successful candidate would take real responsibility on major local and international software implementation assignments in areas such as sales forecasting, production optimization, inventory planning and business intelligence.

Delevant is passionate about leveraging mathematical modeling and technology to solve real-world problems in the supply chain and manufacturing industries. As a Supply Chain Planning Software Analyst you will work on solving some challenging data-driven business problems across industries, through the use of specific software suites.
The role will require quantitative programming skills and basic understanding of statistical analysis, mathematical modeling and optimization. The software packages we use include complex data models and innovative algorithms that help businesses and organizations solve problems and make decisions that relate to real cost benefits.
You would be implementing software in an international business environment and will require excellent command of the English language as well as the ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner with both technical and non-technical customers.
On-the-job and organized training on the software packages and underline mathematical modeling will be provided.
Qualifications:
Required
Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics or a related science field
Strong quantitative and analytic abilities
Proficiency in at least one structured programming language. Programming experience in a project environment is preferred
Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and writing. Initiative, motivation, strong work ethics
Willing to travel to European and International client destinations
Preferred
Strong computer programming skills
Sound understanding of data warehouse best practices, relational data structures and dimensional data modeling along with strong SQL skills
Prior experience with architecting complex ETL processes using tools like Informatica Power center or Microsoft SSIS
Academic or other experience in the fields of linear and mixed integer programming optimization, mathematical modeling, meta-heuristics, demand forecasting, simulation, inventory optimization, supply chain management
Exposure to optimization and/or statistical software like R, Python, Cplex, Gurobi, SSAS, SPSS, Matlab
