Banking Relations and Payments Officer – Nicosia

The main responsibilities of the position include:

  • Engage in the financial institutions’ annual reviews by providing the required information and monitoring their successful completion.
  • Participate in the bank account opening procedures and monitor the entire process.
  • Initiate bank transactions of expenses payments and other obligations for further approval and execution.
  • Ensure all processing and payments authorisation are carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collect the necessary internal documentation for due diligence and KYC procedures, as occasionally required by the financial institutions.
  • Ensure that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.

Main requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or in any related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the banking industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Excellent oral and written skills in English.
  • Energetic, positive, and a team player.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
