Finance Officer – Nicosia

The Role:

We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated professional to join our Finance team. As a Finance Officer, you will be part of a team that ensures proper and accurate preparation of the company’s and the clients’ financial records and prompt processing of payment requests.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Prepare reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Provide reports and documentation to comply with regulations and internal reporting requirements.
• Execute expenses and creditors’ payments with the relevant approval.
• Liaise with external advisors and service providers as required.
• Liaise with banks and other financial institutions to ensure a smooth payment flow.
• Ensure that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
• Assist with VAT and tax issues and financial reports.

Main requirements:

• BSc/MSc in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, or any related field.
• Experience in a similar position within the financial services industry will be considered a strong plus.
• Experience in using SAP and/or E-Soft accounting systems will be considered a strong plus.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, with a focus on Excel.
• Excellent oral and written skills in English.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Energetic, positive and a team player, with strong organisational skills.
• Proactive and result-oriented.
