Role main responsibilities:

• Works within the best practices, company standards and fit for the purpose technologies and frameworks
• Writes clean, testable and optimized code and deliver fit for the purpose solutions
• Performs bug fixing as per the established processes and guidelines
• Proactively ensures scalability and performance of the deliverables
• Complies with secure code development standards
• Creates technical specifications, tasks and designs using company available tooling
• Performs code reviews, test and debug
• Refactors code to improve readability and performance
• Documents development and designs
• Participates in the Agile SDLC
• Actively aims to ensure that personal and team goals are achieved within the Sprint
• Prioritizes and organizes individual technical tasks in a manner that is optimum for the whole team

Qualifications and skills required:
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent field of study
• Graduate or near to zero coding experience are accepted
• Be eligible for the HRDA Scheme for Graduates Employment program
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns
• Understanding of RDBMS and non-RDBMS systems
• Strong team player
• ‘Can do’ attitude
• Eager to learn and grow within the team
• Communicate effectively and clearly
• Fluency in English language is a must

Preferred skills/experience (not mandatory):
• Experience with C#, .Net Core Framework and other frameworks
• Good understanding of S.O.L.I.D principles
• Good understanding of Unit and Integration Testing and experience with associated testing frameworks (i.e. XUnit, JUnit, MsTest)
• Familiarity with version control software (i.e. Git, Bitbucket, Github)
