CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Support & Onboarding services on behalf of a Licensed Broker, we are seeking to recruit a Funding & Payment Analyst to join their growing team based in Larnaca. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions related to funding and payments within our client’s organization. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics or another related filed, who possess proven experience in financial analysis, funding operations, or payment processing, preferably in a fintech or cryptocurrency-related environment. Familiarity with cryptocurrency exchanges, wallets, and blockchain technology will be considered an advantage. Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel along with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are a must.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Oversee the funding process, including monitoring incoming and outgoing payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Execute and oversee payment transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Analyse funding and payment data to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies.
• Assess and mitigate financial risks associated with funding and payment activities.
• Implement strategies to safeguard assets and minimize exposure to fraud or other financial threats.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and compliance teams, to streamline processes and resolve issues efficiently.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, funding operations, or payment processing, preferably in a fintech or cryptocurrency-related environment.
• Experience with payment gateways, merchant services, or financial technology (fintech) platforms.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency exchanges, wallets, and blockchain technology is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
