CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established, international provider of secure online payments to a wide range of clients and industries, we are seeking to recruit a Sales Consultant (Payments) to drive new business development opportunities for them across Cyprus, with a specific focus on the Forex industry. You will need to have proven sales and new business development experience working in the online payments industry, either for a Payment Service Provider (PSP) or another relevant technology provider to the FX market. Fluent in English to a business level, you will need to have existing connections and relationships within the Forex industry and enjoy the challenge of identify, qualifying and converting sales targets. You will work fully remotely within Cyprus and will be employed as a Consultant, rather than an employee of the company. A very competitive basic salary is available, as well as an industry leading uncapped commission plan calculated as a percentage of the net profit gained from merchants. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:  

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct research to identify targets operating in the FX industry.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients in the FX industry.
  • Promote the company’s payment solution at relevant industry events.  
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures.
  • Meet and ideally exceed designated sales targets for the Cyprus market.
  • Build long-term relationships with new clients.
  • Provide regular feedback and reporting to the Commercial Director regarding the sales pipeline.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • An academic background in the field of Business will be considered an advantage, but not essential.
  • In excess of 2+ years of proven sales experience in the payments industry is essential.
  • Existing knowledge and relationships with companies operating in the Forex industry.
  • A proven track record of meeting and ideally exceeding designated sales targets.
  • Fluency in English to a business level; with any additional language skills considered an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Outstanding relationship building and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work well independently, with minimal supervision.
