CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International Payment Solutions Provider with expanding operations in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Sales Consultant to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for developing new sales verticals by identifying new opportunities through proactive business development activities and initiatives. An academic background relating to Business, Finance, Economics or any other similar field is desirable, and you will need to possess approximately 3+ years of proven sales and business development experience gained working in the B2B payments industry. Our client is seeking applicants who are target driven, with a proven track record of meeting and ideally exceeding designated sales targets. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.


Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the daily sales processes closely and keeping a track of sales prospects.
  • Develop new sales verticals by identify new business opportunities that may arise through LinkedIn, Social Media and Strategic Partnerships.
  • Create sales and progress reports for Senior Executives.
  • Present a professional and positive image of the department and the company as well as maintaining constructive relationships.
  • Take all responsible steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality and eliminate any conflicts of interest.
  • Identify and develop new sales strategies and convert them into profitable new business and assist with other sales and marketing activities such as trade shows and conferences.
  • Work with the Marketing Department on sales promotions and lead acquisition.
  • Undertake other such duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonable required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.
  • Contribute to dealing with partners to increase sales revenue.
  • Reporting directly to Management.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Any academic background relating to Business, Finance, Economics or a similar field is desirable.
  • Approximately 3+ years of proven experience in Sales and/or Business Development in B2B Payments is essential, ideally within the high-risk sector.
  • A proven track-record of meeting and ideally seeking designated sales targets is a must.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to build successful and long-lasting relationship.
  • Outstanding client service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Well-presented, capable to work under pressure and efficient to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
