CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a rapidly expanding and highly innovative Law Firm with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Litigation Lawyer to join their growing team. The successful applicant will be able to independently handle a variety civil and commercial court and arbitration cases, ensuring clients of the firm receive an outstanding level of service at all times. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Law, who are full members of the Cyprus Bar Association. You will need to hold proven experience in dispute resolution and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek & English. We encourage applications from Litigation professionals with approximately 5+ years of relevant experience, although less experienced candidates are also encouraged to apply.


Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conduct all pre-investigatory assessment work & prepare documentation required to file cases.
  • Independently handle civil and commercial court and arbitration cases in all stages.
  • Mediate dispute resolution cases.
  • Structure, draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements.
  • Manage case-related tasks, including documentation, deadlines, and court appearances.
  • Stay current with legal developments and trends, and apply this knowledge to cases.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and records.
  • Provide exceptional client service by maintaining open communication and addressing client concerns.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • University Degree in Law (an LPC, BAR or LLM shall be considered an additional advantage).
  • Member of the Cyprus Bar Association
  • Substantial hands-on experience (ideally 5+ years) of independent handling of litigation proceedings (preparation of pleadings, preparation for hearings and handling of hearings).
  • Competency & experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial agreements.
  • Excellent oral and written command of the Greek and English languages.
  • Independence, strong organisational skills, ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Driving licence and vehicle.
