Job Description:

The Hospitality Business Manager is a key member of the senior management team, reporting to the CEO of Ayia Napa Marina Hospitality Limited. The candidate is expected to be an experienced and efficient leader who maintains control of the F&B business operation at Ayia Napa Marina. The goal of the Hospitality Business Manager position is to secure the functionality of the business to drive extensive and sustainable growth. The Hospitality Business Manager will assume a strategic role in the overall management of the F&B team of Ayia Napa Marina Hospitality Limited. The Hospitality Business Manager will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling financial-related activities of the Company.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of operations in coordination with the operation management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as industry standards.
  • Handles all government related inspections and compliances.
  • Directly coordinates between the admin team and the operations department.
  • Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Monitor and control costs to maximize profitability.
  • Implement pricing strategies and promotions to drive revenue.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff members.
  • Set performance expectations, conduct regular evaluations, and provide feedback.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly.
  • Implement strategies to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive business and meet revenue targets.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures for products and services.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and development.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g. point-of-sale systems, restaurant reservation systems).
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
