CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly regarded Group of Companies operating in the Logistics, Shipping & Supply Chain Management sectors, we are seeking to recruit an Export Coordinator to join their growing team based in Limassol. As part of your role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless execution of export operations. From order processing and documentation to shipping coordination and customer support, you will collaborate with internal departments and external partners to facilitate successful international shipments. You will possess at least 1+ year of prior experience in export customer service and/or operations and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Greek. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire export process, including order processing, documentation preparation, shipping arrangements, and shipment tracking.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, customer service, and customs clearing, to ensure the efficient execution of export operations for both FCL and/or LCL shipments.
  • Prepare and review export documents, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other essential paperwork.
  • Ensure strict adherence to international trade regulations, customs requirements, and export control laws.
  • Engage with freight forwarders and carriers to schedule shipments, negotiate favourable rates, and oversee transportation logistics.
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel to guarantee timely and accurate loading of export shipments.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for international customers, addressing inquiries, providing real-time shipping updates, and swiftly resolving issues related to export orders.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, prioritizing their satisfaction throughout the export process.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Transportation and Logistics will be considered highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 1+ year of experience in export customer service and/or operations.
  • Proficient in coordinating with warehouses for shipments, handling bookings, document preparation, resolving freight discrepancies and customer complaints, and effectively communicating with overseas offices, agents, and clients.
  • Strong data entry skills and a meticulous approach to work, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of export operations.
  • Familiarity with Incoterms and experience in handling shipments of dangerous goods.
  • Excellent proficiency in both English and Greek languages, both verbal and written.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, complemented by exceptional organizational skills.
