Main responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join PwC Cyprus as an Internal Audit Officer. The successful candidate will be part of a high calibre and dynamic team within our Advisory Line of Service.
The role entails performing internal audit work for PwC Cyprus, reporting directly to the firm’s Chief Internal Auditor. More specifically, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing the firm’s Annual Internal Audit plan
- Assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of the firm’s system of internal controls by performing internal audit work in accordance with the approved Internal Audit plan
- Assessing the firm’s compliance with laws, regulations, policies, procedures and relevant PwC Network Standards
- Preparing comprehensive internal audit reports, including the provision of recommendations
- Presenting the internal audit reports to the firm’s Chief Internal Auditor
What we are looking for
- University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or in a related field
- At least 3 years of experience with strong exposure in internal and/or external audit type of work
- Holder of a Professional Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIA) will be considered as an advantage
- Knowledge of IT Audit matters would be considered as an advantage
- Knowledge of data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau etc.) will be considered as an advantage
- Highly motivated individual who can work in a fast paced dynamic environment, with an ability to take initiative, solve problems and deliver results
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Confident, articulate and able to communicate in a clear and effective manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
